Our recent workshops in Istanbul provided an opportunity to demonstrate one of the most useful features of LabAuthor, the software that allows educators to edit any LabTutor experiment to suit their students and curriculum. The workshop featured a set of LabTutor human physiology experiments translated from English into Turkish, enabling more students to benefit from LabTutor's innovative approach to practical learning.

Electrodermal Response – Teaching Experiment in Focus

Dr Mark Roth from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington is researching a theory that death is caused not by lack of oxygen but by chemical reactions to dropping levels of oxygen. See the full story as it appeared on CNN.

High salt intake means more strokes and heart disease

A high salt intake is linked with a significantly increased risk of both strokes and cardiovascular disease, according to a new EU-funded study published this week in the British Medical Journal (BMJ). The collaborative research was carried out by teams at the University of Naples Federico II in Italy and the University of Warwick in the UK.
